Low-melting-point Molten Salt

Molten salts (including heat-conducting salts and thermal media) are inorganic salts melted into a heat-transfer medium. They are molten bodies composed of metal cations and non-metal anions. At standard temperature and atmospheric pressure they are solid; when heated, they become liquid salts.

Instructions for Use
Put the thermally conductive molten salt into the tank and heat it directly to melt it, or add a small amount of water to the thermally conductive molten salt and heat it to melt it. After melting to a sufficient viscosity, it can be circulated with a circulation pump, and then sent to a heat-carrying furnace to gradually increase the temperature in a cycle to reach the target temperature.
Things to note
① Molten salt should be kept clean and should not come into contact with organic matter such as carbon, rosin or reducing substances to avoid causing violent chemical reactions.
② When starting to heat up, strictly control the heating rate and try to avoid rapid cooling and heating during system operation.
③ The flow rate is constant during circulating heating and cannot exceed the film temperature.
④ When using at high temperatures, it is strictly forbidden to mix water and organic substances.
⑤ When there is a lot of sediment in the molten salt of the heat carrier, the molten salt should be replaced.
⑥ Before stopping, all the molten salt must be poured back into the molten salt storage tank, and then the shutdown procedure can be entered.
